Description

XYZ PROTOTYPES is a Sarl which sells or leases prototypes of the induced drag reduction / Vortex,  the device "MINIX" whose manager, Christian HUGUES, holds several international patents and leaves to the Company the exclusivity for all the real tests . This device has 18 applications listed (cf: http://www.minix.fr/english/minix_application.php ) land, air and sea.
Recently, digital noise tests were carried out by ESI GROUP at RUNGIS in the Val de Marne, a world specialist in the design of simulation software, and have produced a result in the field of wind energy with a very large reduction in Noise, in particular in infrasound and low frequencies, to the both at source and radiated noise.
The application of this device makes it possible to significantly reduce CO2 as well as noise pollution for the vicinity of airports and wind farms, not to mention cetaceans and marine mammals suffering from these nuisances near offshore wind turbines, (the noise at the passage from the blade to the bottom of the pylon produces low frequencies that reverberate very far in the sea and disrupt the cetaceans with all the consequences that may result).
The application of this new device therefore makes it possible to improve energy efficiency in the field of onshore and offshore wind turbines as well as for hydro-turbines and provides a solution to the noise problem. It also makes it possible to reduce the fuel consumption of planes and drones, which represents a significant reduction in CO2.

Results

Currently, all digital tests are completed with very promising results:
-For aviation 6% fuel economy representing a tonnage multiplied by 3 in reduction of CO2
-For the wind turbines 14% of additional electrical energy in average annual with a noise reduction of 57% at the base of the pylon and 55% in remote fields.
The actual tests on light aircraft have been made and are positive.
The Company is now in the final stages for the  application of wind turbine, as certifications are less stringent than aeronautics. Real-time testing is expected soon on large wind turbines of more than 2 MW before being launched on the market.

Impacts and benefits for the territory, the economy, the population ...


-For the territory, the application of this new technology makes it possible to reduce the noise pollution of the airports while allowing to increase the number of wind turbines in the parks by significantly reducing the noise.
-For the economy, the reduction of fuel in aviation and the increase in electrical production of wind turbines are significant.
-For the population, it will benefit from a more pleasant environment (noise and CO2).
